Does your place of business, educational facility, or children’s room need a creative boost? Add colorful, lightweight (wall, hanging, or free standing) papier mache sculptures! An eight-foot dolphin, great white shark, Tyrannosaurus Rex, or vibrant butterfly may be just the thing to turn an ordinary room into something special. Do you have a particular theme in mind? Feel free to offer your ideas. We’re open to your suggestions.
- Who can benefit from our creative know-how? How about Schools, Libraries, Nature Centers, Aquariums, Zoos, Museums, Recreational/Community Centers, Day Care Centers, Restaurants, Resorts/Hotels, Ice Cream Parlors, Children’s Bedrooms, Recreation Rooms, and much more!
- One of the best features about our distinctive Styrofoam art sculptures is they are extremely lightweight. An eight-foot blue shark weights less than five pounds. You can hang them with Velcro, fishing line, or a couple of nails.
- Need a centerpiece for a party of other festive occasion? For a special event at the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida, Andrea and I created six (two-foot) coral reef displays (complete with papier mache coral, sea fans, and clown fish). At Parrot Jungle in Miami, Andrea and I made a five-foot giraffe and elephant! At the Naples Public Library, there's a nearly five-foot gecko clinging to a wall. In Dec. 2008, we created a six-foot horse for Art Basel in Miami Beach.

During ArtWalk, DiVitto and Andrea offer children of all ages a papier mache demonstration and describe how they create their large, colorful sculptures. You can see some of their sculptures at ANSU Gallery (www.ansugallery.com), located at 111 Harrison Street. For more information, visit www.downtownhollywood.com.
"I could not have been more pleased with the sculptures Divitto and his wife, Andrea, made for my school´s media center. They even delivered them all the way from Florida to North Carolina. The students and teachers alike enjoy the sea animals. Divitto offered excellent suggestions when I was trying to decide which sea animals to purchase. I could not recommend more reputable and talented papier–mâché sculptors." Heather Woody, Media Coordinator | Supply Elementary School |
