On Oct. 23, Andrea and I traveled to the Flagler County Public Library, located in Palm Coast, Florida for a unique Halloween "tissue mache" craft program. I precut nearly three dozen 20-inch candy corn shapes (I beveled the edges and included a base) from 3" thick high-quality Styrofoam. The students brushed on a glue/water mix and then added layers of white, orange, and yellow colored tissue paper. To help inspire the children, there were bowls of candy corn for everyone!
