Halloween "tissue mache" craft program

On Oct. 23, Andrea and I traveled to the Flagler County Public Library, located in Palm Coast, Florida for a unique Halloween "tissue mache" craft program. I precut nearly three dozen 20-inch candy corn shapes (I beveled the edges and included a base) from 3" thick high-quality Styrofoam. The students brushed on a glue/water mix and then added layers of white, orange, and yellow colored tissue paper. To help inspire the children, there were bowls of candy corn for everyone! South Florida artists selected to paint a 7-foot fiberglass alligator sculpture

Andrea and I were one of a few south Florida artists selected to paint a 7-foot fiberglass alligator sculpture. The sculptures will be on permanent display throughout Sawgrass Mills.
